Over-paintable and permanently elastic sealant easily brush able and fast-drying sealant. Over-paintable and permanently elastic. DINITROL 401 is brushed on the seams or lap joints with a normal paint-brush. The sealant can be applied directly on the untreated, primer or painted surface.

Method of use
For bodywork and lacquer work, DINITROL 401 can be used on untreated and primed bodywork, and on surfaces with paint primer and lacquers.
After complete drying, the sealing compound can be coated using 1-c and 2-c repair lacquer. In order to ensure permanent sealing of horizontal and vertical welding seams on car bodywork, i.e. in the engine compartment, boot base and spoilers to create technically and optically similar sealing to the original. Also suitable for sealing large areas on trailers or large threaded joints.
Applications
The surface to be treated must be dry. Dirt, oil, grease, rust and loose paint must be removed. (W900 or WB900 Cleaner can be used) Corrections can be made within ~ 10 minutes. Processing temperature: from + 5°C to + 25°C. The dry film offers permanent protection against petrol and oil penetration. DINITROL 401 is useable for spot-welding. DINITROL 401 is supplied as a ready-to-use product.
